That pie menu shows options with all orthographic views and a couple
more. For instance, it is possible to jump straight into the active camera
view or "View Selected." By choosing this last option makes your 3D
Viewport to zoom in and focus on any selected objects.
With the backquote shortcut, you have a quick way to navigate without
the need for numeric keyboard entry. However, a numeric keyboard
(Numpad) still is an essential tool to navigate in 3D using Blender
quickly. For instance, using the Numpad 5 is the quickest way to swap
between a perspective and orthographic projection.
What if you don't have a keyboard with a Numpad? You can emulate the
Numpad functions using the Edit → Preferences… menu and going to
the Input tab (Figure 1.14).
